New Music Available

John Culver Wilson with The So & So’s is now available on most streaming platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, Youtube Music, etc.) It consists of nine original songs, recorded at Jim Ford’s studio in Webster Groves, MO. The songs were recorded on two Saturday afternoons in November, 2023. Featuring Dan Frey on bass and background vocals, Bud Rager on drums, and me on guitar and vocals (The So & So’s). Gian Vianello guested on harmonica. We recorded everything live with no overdubs. If someone made a mistake they “couldn’t live with” we did another take. The result is a good representation of what you’d hear if you saw The So & So’s live.

I also just made my recording from 1989 (retitled The Maui Years) available on streaming platforms. These twelve original songs were recorded on Maui and feature me on guitar and vocals, “Cousin” Timothy B. Dahms on bass, and Rhett Pierce on drums. With Rene Alonzo on keyboard and Samantha Fairchild on background vocals.
